MARY KAY QUINN (nee Westveer) passed away peacefully on April 15, 2021 with family and friends by her side. She was predeceased by her father, Kenneth W. Westveer and survived by her husband, Brian; her mother, Rita Westveer (Parrish); her sister, Amy Koch (Michael); and brothers, Gerard Westveer (Joyce) and Douglas Westveer (Laura). She loved the time she was able to spend with her 11 nephews and niece; her in-laws, the Quinns and the Stocks; as well as her adopted Cleveland families, the Penkos and the Mastroiannis. Mary Kay retired from the Cleveland Clinic as a Liver Transplant Coordinator in November 2018 where she leaves many friends and respected colleagues. Mary Kay leaves behind too many friends and family to mention but especially enjoyed: her long weekend trips with Sue, Jeannie, and Kathy; Niagara friends, Shawn and Sue; as well as her book club and golﬁng friends.
Mary Kay became actively involved with the House of Champions in Cleveland and in lieu of ﬂowers, the family suggests contributions be made to House of Champions, 2066 W. 47th Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44102.
Funeral Mass Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, 32001 Cannon Rd., Solon. (Please meet at the church.) The family will receive friends at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 95 S. FRANKLIN ST., CHAGRIN FALLS ON FRIDAY, APRIL 23 FROM 3 TO 7 P.M.
Mary Kay will be laid to rest in her hometown of Rochester, New York at a later date.
