We are writing to ask for you to consider supporting our 2019-2020 Music in a Sacred Space Concert Series. This coming year marks our 14th season of providing world class music to the community of Solon and surrounding areas, admission free. We are thrilled to announce our largest ever 2019-2020 Music in a Sacred Space line-up: We’ll kick things off on Sunday, November 17th at 3pm with the Erie Waters Flute Choir from the Greater Cleveland Flute Society. On Friday, December 6th at 7pm we’ll celebrate the season with Tomàseen Foley’s A Celtic Christmas. On Monday, February 17th at 7pm with Members of Cleveland Orchestra and Friends featuring Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. In April we’ll welcome the Evanston Children’s Choir for a concert on Saturday, April 18th at 7pm and we’ll close out the season with the Cleveland Bluegrass Orchestra on Friday, May 8th at 7pm. As you can see, it’s a jam-packed and exciting season of high caliber music coming right here to Church of the Resurrection, Solon.
But that’s not all! Last summer we extended our Music in a Sacred Space offerings to include an outdoor “Sounds of Summer” concert series. We would like to continue that in the summer of 2020 as well and already have the Solon Community Band, Chardon Polka Band, Light of Two Moons and Bennie Jackson’s Masterpiece ready and willing to make our outdoor season as remarkable as our indoor one!
Of course, this concert series is only made possible by the generous support of our patrons, donors and sponsors. With an even larger program of offerings, we are writing to ask for your support of the arts in our community, specifically through your financial patronage of this series. Your tremendous generosity along with the free-will offerings of concert-goers, allows us to provide this series to our neighborhood free of charge. A gift that has truly touched people’s lives through the power of music.
As in previous years, there are varying levels of support with raging from Patron status with a gift of only $50 to a Series Sponsor in which an individual concert may be sponsored by a business or individual for a donation of $2,500. Sponsors will be identified in flyers distributed before the concert and prominently in the concert program. Patrons, Donors and Sponsors of the series will be identified in each concert program. Please see the donor card in the link below for more information on this year’s series and how you can help support our musical endeavors at Church of the Resurrection as a gift to the entire community! We look forward to your reply!
