JOSEPHINE A. LAMANCUSA, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Josephine was born on July 21, 1925, in Sinagra, Sicily to Sebastiano and Rosa (Corica) Radice. With her parents and sister Vincenza (Vee), she immigrated to the United States when she was 18 months old. She was a naturalized citizen due to her father’s Military Service for the United States during World War 1. She married S. Joseph Lamancusaon September 11, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio. They worked together building Lamrite’s Floral and Craft Supply Company. She was active in St. Rita’s Church and a long-time member of the adult choir. Fluent in 4 languages, Josephine was a wonderful cook, artist, creative arts teacher, and the soul of the family. She had two favorite seasons of the year, Christmas, and Cleveland Indians Baseball. She was preceded in death by her parents, eldest sister Vincenza (Vee) Liviola, sister Annie, infant sister, Ann, and husband of 63 years, S. Joseph Lamancusa. Josephine is survived by her children, Anthony (Katherine), Joseph (Patsy), John (Julie), and Susan (Tom) Atkinson, grandchildren David (Karey) Lamancusa, Mary (Mike) Freilino, Joseph (Kari) Lamancusa, James (Genevieve) Lamancusa, Brook (Tim) Davidson, Tom Atkinson, Natalie (Kevin) Zoul, and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brother, Paul Radice, along with many nieces and Nephews.
