Sacramental Preparation

CONFIRMATION is currently celebrated with 10th grade students and includes regular participation in the RTC program, Confirmation preparation sessions, which are held off site from October through May on Sunday evenings from 6:45-8:15pm and the Confirmation retreat held in January. Note that Confirmation preparation actually begins in 9th grade as part of our RTC curriculum.

FIRST RECONCILIATION is currently celebrated with our 6th grade students and includes regular attendance at PSR sessions as well as family participation in 1 Reconciliation preparation session and in the Lenten Communal Penance Service.

FIRST EUCHARIST is typically celebrated during the 2nd grade year and includes regular attendance at PSR sessions as well as participation in our HOLY FAMILY COMMUNION PREPARATION PROGRAM which consists of 1 parent meeting and 3 family “mini-retreat” experiences. The celebration of First Eucharist takes place from the weekend after Easter through Pentecost weekend at our regular weekend liturgy (Saturday 5pm and Sunday 9am and 11am Mass).

Infant / Toddler BAPTISM is celebrated within the context of our regular weekend liturgy (Saturday 5pm and Sunday 9am and 11am Mass). Baptisms are scheduled individually and if this is your first child, a Baptism preparation program is also necessary. For children 7 years of age or older we typically recommend participation in the Order of Christian Initiation of Children or OCIC program.
