Children’s Liturgy of the Word if offered at our Sunday 9am and 11am Masses throughout the year for children in preschool through 2nd grade. Children are called forward and dismissed after the Collect (Opening Prayer) of the Mass and led to the nursery by our catechists to share and break open the Word of God on their level and engage them in prayer, music, discussion, crafts and more. Our CLOW youth return to the Worship Space during the Preparation of the Altar and Presentation of Gifts.
Kid’s Mass Bags
There is a cart with Kid’s Mass Bags available in the Gathering Area before and after each of our weekend Masses. (Saturday 5pm, Sunday 9am and 11am). These bags are filled with various children’s items from Mass, prayer and story books to Lectionary activity sheets to seasonal faith-based fidgets and more and are meant to help keep children ages 3-6 and 7-10 engaged in the Mass. Anyone is welcome to take a bag from the cart for use during Mass and return it to the cart afterward to be cleaned and prepared for the next service.
