Mary Janet Tarczy, 102, formerly of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, was born on April 12, 1919 and peacefully passed away on January 2, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Alexander Tarczy, and is survived by her sister Marjorie Petras, and sons: Kenneth Tarczy and his wife Jane, and Jerry Paul Tarczy and his wife Elsie. Additionally, she is survived by her grandchildren: Kenneth Allen Tarczy and his wife Kimiko, Brian Tarczy, Matthew Tarczy and his wife Michelle, and Jeremy Tarczy. She was a great grandmother to Alex, Kirsty, Paige, Madison, Jake, and Meredith Tarczy. Besides being proud of living past 100, she was an avid golfer, and helped her husband, Al, run Al’s Starting Gate. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 8. 2022 from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM at the Church of the Resurrection, 32001 Cannon Road, Solon, Ohio 44139, immediately followed by Mass of Christian Burial at the church at 12:30 PM. Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Church of the Resurrection.
