NORM PERNEY, longtime active resident of Solon. February 9, 1931 – November 5, 2021.
Beloved husband of the late Sue; loving father of Steve (Terri), Norma Jean, Tom (Connie) Perney and Donna (Dan) McEvilly; grandpa of B ridget (Jason) Lynch, Steve McEvilly, Kelly McEvilly, Alexis, Andrea, and Aricka Perney, and Dominic Grifo; dear brother of Lenore Plunkett and John Perney. Graduate of Benedictine High School and John Carroll University, Norm worked as a CPA for Pesco Products and Brush Wellman. Deeply involved in Church of the Resurrection since its inception, active in Knights of Columbus, Solon Senior Center, loved to play golf and maintained relationships with friends from all levels of schooling. He loved to share stories of his life that usually began with “Susie and I…”.
Family will visit with friends Monday, Nov. 8, from 4-8pm at STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD., SOLON. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 10:30AM at Church of the Resurrection, 32001 Cannon Rd., Solon. Interment Roselawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Church of the Resurrection.
