was called home on September 21, 2021. He lived a grand life-a life that checked all the boxes. He was married to Mary (nee DiVincenzo) for over 60 years until her passing. He was a devoted son of Florence (nee Guzik) and Joseph Talarico. He and Mary had 3 children. The first, Laura Maistros (nee Talarico) was taken far too early in life (Larry and wife Chris). The second, Phillip Jr., (Dawn), (Becky-deceased). And the third, Teri Hembree, were all taught that family was everything.

To Phillip’s 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, he was larger than life. He leaves his grandchildren, Jennifer Bernzweig Glenny (Troy), Jessica Bernzweig Haydu (Dave), Brittany Kirk (Jon), Phillip Jerome (Alexandra), Alex Maistros (Sarah), Courtney Maistros, Zak Hembree (Emily), Morgan Hembree, Tylor Wylie, Nichole Wylie and Christopher Wylie with this life lesson…”always keep a positive mental attitude…PMA!”. His hope was that his great grandchildren Julian Glenny, Westley Glenny, Luke Maistros, Tate Hembree, Phinn Talarico, Lilly Haydu, Hannah Haydu, Elenor Maistros, Gauge Wylie and Cullen Wylie all remember that “LIFE IS GOOD” (a phrase he would utter often and years before it became popular). Cherished brother of Dolores Sciaulino (Frank, deceased) and Joe Talarico (Barb) and Brother-in Law to Gloria and John Vaccariello. He was a commercial realtor and developer for over 60 years in the Cleveland area. As an avid horse racing fan, one of his annual traditions was to attend the Kentucky Derby with his friends, which he did for over 50 consecutive years. Through his kindness, Phillip leaves this world a better place than when he joined it. He was known to all as someone who always made everyone feel good and someone that countless people turned to for help in their darkest days knowing he would never hesitate to step up to lend a hand. He gave to many charities and causes.
